When it comes to tattoos, I’m honesty on the fence. I’ve seen some absolute shockers that make me lean towards a “no tattoo policy”, and then I’ve come across brilliant artwork that makes me want to stand up and applaud the artist. But no guy can argue that a well placed tattoo on a woman’s body is damn sexy! So, I’ve gone searching for the hottest celeb chicks sporting a little ink. Cool or not so cool? You make your own mind up!
Cheryl Cole (Fernandez)
There are tattoos and then there are tattoos! Look at this “rose on the bum” masterpiece. Cheryl Cole is an absolute belter, but does the tattoo do more or less for her? It sure is sexy if you ask me. Best she keeps working out, otherwise those roses are going to start looking like those flowers you bought the missus a week after Valentine’s day – a little sad and saggy.
The 28 year old stunner has a few bits of body work and isn’t shy to show it all off. Imagine being the lucky guy to discover this after a night out? The tattoo reads “there once was a little girl who never knew love until a boy broke her HEART”. Hands down the pick of the bunch!
Nice little number running down the side of her back. The tattoo is in Italian and reads “to live without regrets”, but it has a spello in it. I say to hell with the spelling mistake, I’m not Italian and it can say “I love fluffy teddy bears” for all I care. While it might not read correctly, she get’s a 9/10 for a great effort.
The poshest of the Spice Girls by far – The wife of retired footballer Davey Beckham has taken a leaf from hubby’s book and has a little ink herself. Apparently, the understated tattoo running down her neck and back is a Hebrew poem which reads “Ani l’dodi li va’ani lo haro’eh bashoshanim” which when translated means “Yes my husband has a squeaky teenage boy voice, but he has more money than you”. Naagh that’s way to easy, it actually means “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine“. Who cares what it says, right? It looks really hot. Gonna chat to my wife and try and convince her to get this one done 🙂
If Angelina Jolie isn’t collecting orphaned babies, then she is collecting tattoos! The Bengal tiger tattoo, on the lower part of her back, is Thai inspired and completed by hand, way back in 2004, to commemorate her Cambodian citizenship. The ink on her shoulder, done by the same guy who knocked out the Bengal tiger, translates to “May your enemies run far away from you; If you acquire riches, may they remain yours always; Your beauty will be that of Apsara; Wherever you may go, many will attend, serve and protect you, surrounding you on all sides.” And on her left arm Jolie inked the coordinates of the birthplaces of her six children. Subsequently a seventh coordinate has been added, the birthplace of hubby Brad Pitt. I personally think the Bengal tiger is rocking, not so sure about the others.
The 41 year old German Supermodel rocks some ink on her inner right arm. Pretty cool, but it looks like she is having it removed since the bust up with hubby Seal. It’s a damn pity. Helluva sexy.
Sporting a wrist tattoo that is the Sanskrit word “Padma” which means lotus flower. In Hinduism, it is the symbol of spiritual development. There is something pretty sexy about a chick with a wrist tattoo, don’t you think?
The award winning female artist has more ink than these female celebrities put together (21 in total) but this ankle tattoo is off the charts. Back in 2012 Rihanna covered up a music note with this Egyptian falcon. You get ankle tattoos, and then you get ankle tattoos.
And just to add a little colour into the mix, Scarlett Johannson has a pretty neat rising sun on her inner left arm. The blonde bombshell also sports a horseshoe with “Lucky You” inscribed on her rib cage and two interwoven circles on her ankle. I guess if you get that far up her torso, you are a pretty lucky guy!
If this picture of Sienna Miller doesn’t get your pulse racing, I’m not sure what will! Perfectly placed ink – a dove on the wrist and 3 stars on the shoulder.
